Membership Information

Dues (cash or check):

• Individual—$35
• Family (must reside at the same address)—$45
• Student (under 19 years)—$15

Membership is based on the calendar year, January to January. That way your membership always expires in December, making it easy to know when dues are due (easy for you, easy for us). If you want to join (and we hope you do), print the Membership Application, fill it in, and bring it to the next meeting along with your cash or check (payable to Richmond Woodturners). Just ask anyone for the when you get here. If you are a detail-oriented person, feel free to read our bylaws.

Please consider also joining the American Association of Woodturners (AAW). This is not required unless you want to be an officer or give demonstrations at our meetings. By joining the AAW you receive 6 issues of the “American Woodturner” magazine (print and PDF) along with a huge resource directory, an incredible annual symposium, personal grant opportunities, third party liability protection, and much more. If you are the least bit serious about woodturing, it’s a no-brainer.
