Membership Director Chuck Bajnai
Chuck Bajnai hails from Midlothian where he lives with his wife, Joyce.
He graduated in architecture from the University of Michigan and moved from Livonia to Virginia in 1983 to open a Little Caesars Pizza franchise. After selling the business in 2001, he has been working for Chesterfield County as the Chief Residential Plan Reviewer.
Chuck’s dad bequeathed him his Shopsmith but Chuck did not turn it on for 20 years. About 3 years ago he created a VMI nutcracker on his lathe and had so much fun he decided to join the club. Chuck considers himself a novice and enjoys each month’s meeting. He says he feels a great sense of camaraderie among the members and thought he could enjoy it even better if he knew them personally, hence he volunteered to join the board. He thanks you for this opportunity.
